"Jane Stanfel is a Roundup, Montana artist.  Her new body of work deals with western life, from early times to present, the life of the cowboy and cowgirl, from courting , to marriage, their duties and lifestyles - including rodeos.  Also on display will be a few of her Ghost Ranch paintings from the Miles City area.  Stanfel frames her work in old barn wood, and metal found from the sites that she researches and visits.  In conjunction with her exhibit Stanfel will also be offering workshops that deal with Montana history, the history of painting, storytelling and narrative."
